Which Escape Rooms Have Won Best of Morty Every Year?

Every year since 2022, the escape room app Morty has released its “Best of Morty” awards, a community-driven recognition of the best escape room experiences in the world. Ratings are weighted by recency, reviewer experience level, and regional competition, making it one of the most credible third-party rankings in the industry.

With four years of awards now in the books, we thought it was worth asking: which games have made the list every single time?

According to data from Morty and Room Escape Artist, there are approximately 1,450 escape room companies and over 2,000 individual escape games operating in the United States alone. Morty has logged over a million player experiences across those venues, making its community score one of the most data-rich rankings in the hobby.

Each year, the Best of Morty list honors only a few hundred games out of those thousands. To make the list once is a real accomplishment. To make it all four years with the same game puts you in genuinely rare company. After digging through every list from 2022 through 2025, we found only 34 games in the United States and United Kingdom that earned the award every single year.

Every game on it has been consistently rated among the best in the industry by a community of experienced players, year after year. That’s about as reliable a recommendation as you’ll find. A note on methodology: The 2022 Best of Morty awards only recognized venues in the United States and United Kingdom. As a result, venues in the rest of the world that have appeared on the list in later years were not eligible in 2022. The international escape room community is home to some of the best games in the world, many of which have been consistently recognized since Morty expanded its awards in 2023.
