Responsibilities

As a Game Host, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting guests, checking them in, and providing a brief overview of their game.
  • Monitoring games to ensure a smooth and fun experience for all players.
  • Assisting guests as needed by providing hints and answering questions.
  • Resetting games precisely and efficiently after each group finishes.
  • Managing front desk operations, including taking payments, answering phones, and handling bookings.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment, which includes cleaning games, common areas, and restrooms.

Qualifications & Skills

  • You must have reliable transportation to be able to consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
  • Weekend Availability.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and an outgoing, friendly personality.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus on a detailed task for up to 90 minutes.
  • Physical Requirements: This role involves moving quickly and frequently, bending, and occasionally lifting and carrying objects up to 40 pounds while preparing and resetting games.
  • Technical Requirements: You must be comfortable using basic technology, including desktop PCs, tablets, touchscreens, and audio/video equipment.

Salary & Compensation

  • Starting Pay: $15 per hour, with raises as additional responsibilites are learned. 
  • Tips: This is a service job and our team members participate in a bi-weekly tip pool.
